If you place an order through this site, we will respect your privacy. The information you provide when placing an order is used by the lunch program coordinator for the sole purpose of providing lunches and will not be shared with anyone else. This information is retained only for the duration of the lunch program. At no time will your contact or personal information ever be sold to a third party. You may be contacted by a representative of your child’s school, or Healthy Hunger and its employees

All users of healthyhunger.com, healthyhunger.ca, healthyhunger.net, healthyhunger.org must enter their own personal information when registering, and therefore consents, and understands their information may be seen by other users.

Student's name, grade, and order history will be seen only by their school's lunch coordinator and/or the selected vendor. No other users will see individual information including, other parent's and students. Restaurant contact and menu information will be seen by school lunch coordinators, and menu info will be seen by parent and student users.

Your access to parts of our website may be protected by a username and a password. Do not give your password to anyone. If you enter a section of our website that requires a password, you should log out when you leave. As a safety precaution, you should also close out of your web browser completely and re-open it before viewing other parts of the Internet.

These Supplemental Terms of Use for Parents and Guardians ("Supplemental Terms of Use") form part of our General Terms of Use and is incorporated by reference therein. Unless otherwise specified, capitalized terms used in these Supplemental Terms of Use shall have the meanings set forth in our General Terms of Use Each Order Form (as defined below) that you complete and submit through the Site, together with these Supplemental Terms of Use together with our General Terms of Use shall form an agreement between you and Healthy Hunger.

1. PURCHASE OF FOOD

If you wish to purchase any food and/or beverages for yourself or a child in connection with the Services offered through this Site ("Food") from a participating restaurant (a "Restaurant"), you must: (i) sign up for, open and maintain an Account; and (ii) complete all of the applicable information on the Site`s order form (an "Order Form"), including providing us with a valid Visa ® , MasterCard ® or Interact ® card number.

By submitting this information to us, you give Healthy Hunger permission to charge your order to the card that you designate on your Order Form.

Please note that you are responsible for the payment of $0.30 plus 3% of the total value of your order. You are also responsible for the payment of all applicable taxes, including any provincial and federal sales taxes that may apply to your order.

Under no circumstances will we be responsible: (i) for any charges that your credit card issuer may apply to you as a result of our processing your order; (ii) if your card issuer refuses or fails to authorize payment by you; or (iii) for any delays or non-delivery of Services that may arise due to any validation checks that may be carried out regarding your payment or identification.

Healthy Hunger reserves the right to disable, de-activate, or remove user accounts that are inactive for 12 months or longer.

2. Cancellation policy

You may cancel or amend your order at any time so long as you do so before the 5 days from the time at which the Food will be delivered. It is not possible to cancel or amend your order after this cut-off.

3. AVAILABILITY

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to limit quantities available for sale or sold, and the right, at any time, to reject, correct, cancel or terminate any order that you place for any reason whatsoever. We will contact you if all or any portion of your order is cancelled or if additional information is required to accept your order. If your order is canceled after your credit card has been charged, we will issue a credit to the credit card you used to make the purchase in the amount of the charge.

4. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING TO THE CONTRARY IN THE GENERAL TERMS OF USE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT HEALTHY HUNGER: (I) IS SIMPLY AN ADMINISTRATIVE AGENT ACTING AS AN INTERMEDIARY BETWEEN YOU AND THE RESTAURANT FROM WHICH YOU HAVE ORDERED THE FOOD; AND (II) DOES NOT PLAY ANY ROLE IN THE SOURCING OF THE MATERIALS REQUIRED TO MAKE THE FOOD, THE PREPARATION OF THE FOOD, OR THE DELIVERY OF THE FOOD. AS SUCH, HEALTHY HUNGER SHALL NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, BE HELD LIABLE FOR THE FOOD OR ANY ASPECTS THEREOF, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD, MISTAKES MADE BY THE RESTAURANT IN PROCESSING YOUR ORDER, OR THE TIMELY DELIVERY OF THE FOOD.

5. MISPRINTS

Although we do our best to provide you with the most accurate information about the Services, pricing or typographical errors may occur. In the event that an item is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to an error in pricing, we reserve the right to correct or cancel an order at any time, and/or edit an order to reflect the correction, and/or correct the error on the Site.

HealthyHunger.ca connects schools with local restaurants. It is an online platform for organizing school lunch programs and facilitating online payments for students to purchase products offered by the school. Healthy Hunger confirms all orders before delivery and will work with the school to find a suitable replacement should there be any circumstances that prevent the scheduled order from being delivered as originally agreed upon. School fundraising proceeds are paid at the end of the calendar month following the lunch or event and can take up to six weeks to be received..

Restaurants have the option to be paid on the day of the order or can chose alternative arrangements according to their preferred payment method.

All transactions are in Canadian Dollars.

All orders close 5 days before the lunch or event. For example: If there is an order taking place on Friday January 31st, the deadline to place an order will be Sunday January 26th at midnight.

Once the order is closed no changes or cancellations will be accepted. This includes editing, correcting, cancelling and refunding. Cancellations and refunds after the cutoff date will only be accepted if the entire lunch service is cancelled by your school.
